The course includes asanas (physical postures) that promote and facilitate the breathing process and pranayama (breathing exercises) that induce relaxation, mental clarity, and balance. The class ends with the deep relaxation Yoga Nidra and meditation based on the breath awareness. Theory about the anatomy and physiology of respiratory system is also included in the course.
The teacher on this course is me, Julie Yudina. I am a yoga teacher, as well as a scientist in Biology and Pharmacology. I have taught courses in respiration for medical students at Lund University and did research in allergy and asthma. Now I am running Satyayoga.se and teaching yoga in Lund, Kävlinge and Eslöv.
