Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions

In order to be able to have you as client in the yoga school we need to save and handle some personal information, such as name, address, payments, phone number and e-mail address. The information in the school’s client base is furthermore used for course evaluations, internal market research and to inform you about upcoming activities.

In addition to this, we would like to save the information that you pass on to us about your personal health in order to be able to adapt the yoga classes individually and give you personal advice on the exercises.

We get this information from you when you sign up for the course and in direct dialog.

By applying to a course or a retreat group, we have your consent to use your personal details as described above.

Your information will only be shared with accountant and the Swedish tax authorities insofar this is necessary as part of the tax declaration process.

Responsible for the handling of personal information in the yoga school is Julie Yudina. You have the right to contact me if you want information about what data we hold about you, if you want correction, transfer a copy, you want the handling limited or you can request your data to be deleted. The simplest way to do this is to contact us on julie@satyayoga.se. You can reach our data protection officer on julie@satyayoga.se or by mail to Yoga for Hälsan, Södra vägen 7c, 223 58 Lund. If you have complaints about our handling of your personal information, you have the right to file a complaint to the Swedish authority Datainspektionen.

Applying for a Course
Applying for a course can be done via our website, verbally, by letter or e-mail. The application is followed by a confirmation from Yoga för hälsa. Please note that applications are binding, but can be withdrawn in accordance with the Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts. The regulations on consumer rights regarding returns are described below. In processing any application or withdrawal, the Consumer Purchases Act is followed.

Course Start and Welcome Letter
The preliminary start date of a course is indicated on Yoga för hälsa course page. Before the course starts, you will be sent an invoice which includes a welcome letter with details of location, starting date and times.

Fee and Payment
Course fee for each course is specified on Yoga för hälsa course page. An invoice, including a paying-in slip stating amount and payment date, will be sent before the start of the course. Payment should be made using this invoice. A reminder will incur a regulated additional fee, 60 kronor.

Consumer’s Right to Return
According to the Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (2005:59), you have the right to change your mind and withdraw your application.

Notify me within 14 days after you have received confirmation of a place on one of my courses.
Cancellations can be made both verbally and in writing, for example by letter or email.
Cancellations must include your personal details as well as information about the course to which you are registered.
If you cancel your course according to the Consumer’s Right to Return, you are entitled to the whole course fee.

Withdrawal of Application
Except for your right of return according to the above, applications are binding.

If a participant withdraws his or her application after the right to return has expired, but before the start date of the course, an administration fee will be charged.

-In case of withdrawal more than 14 days before the start of a course, no fee will be charged.
-In case of withdrawal more than 8 days before the start of a course, 10 % of the course fee will be charged (but not be less than 100 SEK).
-In case of withdrawal less than 8 days before the start of a course, but 4 days before the starting date, 50 % of the course fee will be charged.
-In case of withdrawal less than 4 days before the start of a course, or thereafter, no refund will be offered.

If you discontinue a course because of a serious event such as illness supported by a medical certificate, the portion of the remaining fee will be refunded.
